A Time for Everything

I am back. I think.

I am back podcasting and blogging. I find both so healing. And a great way to pray.

I again feel drawn to share my life and my feelings and my thoughts of God. My experiences of God.

I have had a tough year. An even tougher couple of months. But I have hope. I have a belief …  that sunnier days are coming.

We are in our new condo. We had to move last July. The good news is that we are in the same building. On the first floor. Which I have decided I like better.

We are on a canal and we can watch the boats and the ducks go by. Love that.

I have been sick for a couple of months. I have an autoimmune kind of illness that is weird and has many uncomfortable symptoms. I will not go into details. But I appreciate your prayers.

Life is like that. Times of joy and times of sadness.

There is an appointed time for everything,

and a time for every affair under the heavens.

Atime to give birth, and a time to die;

a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.

A time to kill, and a time to heal;

a time to tear down, and a time to build.- Ecclesiastes 3:1-3

  1. God bless you Colleen. I’ve been missing you and was worried about you with the recent hurricane. It’s good to know you have a lovely condo with a great view. I really enjoyed seeing the pictures you used to post on your blog showing the sky, etc. Have a blessed Christmas! – Barb Schoeneberger

  2. You’ve quoted my absolute favorite verse! Ecclesiastes never fails to remind me that we must take bad with good, all things in balance.
