About

Welcome to Finding God in the Everyday. This page tells you a little about me, Colleen Spiro.

I am a Catholic wife, mom, grandmother, and stepmother. I converted to Catholicism in 1989 and my life was changed forever! I am a parish secretary at my church and a Benedictine Oblate. I am married to Rich, who is a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church.

I am a certified spiritual director and an author. I have written my memoir, The Third Floor Window, where I share how God has helped me find hope and healing in my life.

I have also written and published articles in Christian magazines and combined some of them in an e-book, Blueberry Muffins, Everyday Stories of God’s Love.

I also wrote and published another e-book,  First Things First, A Personal Retreat Journal.

I publish a free monthly newsletter called Prayerful Morsels, that has a couple of short articles on prayer and spirituality.

Since becoming Catholic, my life has changed dramatically. I desire to make God the center of my life and feel drawn to share my faith and spiritual life with others.

I feel called to not only find God in my everyday life but to share what I find! The articles and podcasts on this blog are one way for me to do this.

God bless!
